Ulysse Nardin Freak Vision
Freak by Ulysse Nardin has always been our focus. First launched in 2001, Ulysse Nardin Freak is an experimental piece that has brought us many different technological breakthroughs in the industry. The use of silicon, for example, is an innovation that dates back to geeks. http://www.moon-watch.co
A modern evolution of the original, the Freak Vision undoubtedly embodies the spirit behind Ulysse Nardin’s finest and wildest creations. It still retains its signature look, as well as its “quirks” – like the lack of a dial and crown. In addition, the latest model now features a balance wheel with welded solid nickel mass elements – a first of its kind patented – and silicon microblades to stabilize amplitude and increase precision. It doesn’t get any more nerdy than this.
This timepiece is undoubtedly an icon for any collector, and its stunning looks will remain modern and cool for years to come.
A. Lange & Söhne Zeitwerk Date
The birth of Zeitwerk is an interesting thing to say the least. Launched in 2009, Zeitwerk came into the limelight during the financial crisis. But more importantly, Zeitwerk is very different from the usual A. Lange & Söhne watches. It was a bold move, but in retrospect it paid dividends.
Zeitwerk has seen some interesting additions to the series along the way since it came out a decade ago. Released at SIHH 2019, the Zeitwerk Date is the latest addition to the family. The 44.2mm timepiece now features a date display on the periphery of the dial, and its power reserve has also been doubled to 72 hours. The colour scheme – consisting of a slate grey dial with sterling silver elements – is aesthetically pleasing. Most importantly, finishing is of the highest standard as usual.
